I was recently listening to a podcast call the black wine guy experience and it was a interview with I think John and Dottie, sharing the journey and how wine became part of the life and business.

This sketch is a great reminder in many levels to train the brain with the positive focus and words daily.

Here is one of two sketches I completed, inspired by the podcast.   I have been fortunate and blessed to travel to France and I stayed in a vineyard outside of Bordeaux.

Traveling is the best experience in so many levels.

 Positive words and reminders for daily life .

Perception is a daily training of the mind and art is my training.

All the sketches can be turned into painting and having the positive words in the art has been building my confidence in my creativity.

The air was a cool 42 this morning and the colors where deep and inspiring on many levels.

 This was a fun creative journey and original freehand art piece.   

Using my shortboard templates and dimensions, this is a replica shortboard art piece cut out of a 4x8 sheet of quarter inch plywood.

This was inspired from my travels to beautiful places around the planet.   

It is so important to create without comparing yourself to anyone and not looking for that validation from anyone.

There is a freedom that evolves from learning by doing and staying consistent with the creativity over time.

Thank you JH for your support and the new home for this one of kind piece.

The outline is cut and completed next step is electric planer work to get the thickness and rockers I am after.
