Choosing peace over connection san Clemente surfboards & art by #paulcarterart

Choosing peace over connection is having healthy priorities and boundaries daily.

Growth takes courage. And emotional maturity,, discipline.  Having self respect and mutual respect is key to build trust..  Yes don’t forget accountability and responsibility…
Ego is all based on the constant need for validation and approval.  In short it’s all based on one’s fear and all the negative conditioning learned growing up and in unhealthy relationships.  An avoidant will always run away out of fear.
I am grateful and thankful to God for the power of Free-Will all day every day…
Here is a custom made surfboard and art work for a good friend.
This outline works great in many size ranges from 6ft all the way through and up to 7ft.

Most boards have either a 1/8 inch or quarter inch stringer.
This board has what’s called a wedge stringer set up.  With two 1/8 inch Basswood stringers..
I first saw the stringer set up surfing down in Mexico on a Renny Yater surfboard.
That board the stringers were too close together, and the box didn’t fit in between the stringers.  I changed the dimensions and began putting the wedge design into my boards some years later when I started shaping in 1993.

These are the custom colors the client asked for in a abstract painting.  Each board is custom made along with each painting which is one of kind.  These are freehand painted.

This outline has the options of a Square tail, or squash, tail, and swallowtail.  The width adjustments are available between 19.50 all the way through and up to 21.75 wide in the center .   Remember it’s the width and the rail thickness is where the buoyancy comes from.  Not the in liters Or the center thickness.   It come from water displacement and buoyancy through the width and the rail thickness.
