Shaping a new stand up paddle board by San Clemente surfboards out of a 8'6 eps blank by us blanks. This is a 7'10 by 28 wide by 4 inches thick. A board for surfing in knee high to overhead surf depending on the individual's experience. New Journey for San Clemente Surfboards an Art

It's been a ride of many waves making it through the biggest recession since the 1930s from 2007 to 2014. I'm  pleased to say I'm not going out of business but growing into the simplicity and unlimited creativity by closing the retail store.
Hand shaping and hand painting will continue with a new vision of inspiration on many levels.

The idea was to give a bit more privacy in the sauna with a surfer dream and a grape vine. 

The house I grew up in had grape vines growing an always enjoyed eating them.

 I used sharpie and poska paint pens for this project and took my time and had fun.

Summer time Surfboard in San Clemente

This Is a 5'8 by 21.25 by 2.50 with 5 future fins set up for all occasions. Has two blue glue lines to give a little classic look on a modern handshaped surfboard. Has a nice rocker in the nose and tail for beach breaks as well as reefs and points with a nice concave bottom with a touch of vee around fins. All shapes and sizes available up to 7ft if needed. Cowboy on Horseback in San Clemente

This guy has been riding all the way from Montana and down el Camino real. Thought I was hearing things when I heard horses walking on the street. I looked up and here was this cowboy and his 3 horses right out front of the shop. Was great to to this guy and I imagined a time when horse travel was the norm around these parts.
