Positive life reminders by Paul Carter

The journey continues from the inside out.

Creating original art by being present is a test and a exercise for me to stay in the moment and create with an open mind.

The mind and body are very powerful and to learn by doing is the journey I have been on most of life.
Be present-drawing by Paul Carter 4-2019

I have been on a journey to learn about the conscious mind and the subconscious mind and what separates them and how does one break through the many layers of conditioning that is pasted on from generation to generation both positive and negative without even realizing it.

I have broken through many layers of co-dependencies from mental to physical and spiritual and the journey continues.

Keep in mind codependency comes in many forms from caffeine to sugar to drugs to alcohol to sex to sugar to relationships to sports to exercising to work, you get the idea.

Its not about being perfect or ego or money or stuff the house the cars etc.

It's about learning by doing and truly getting to know thyself from the inside out, and facing the conditioned lies of fear.

I have learned from surfing to running to riding bikes both road and mountain bikes and many more in between.

I am not sharing this info not to boost my ego or to make myself feel better.   I am sharing what I have learned and continue to learn with positive intentions to inspire or spark something in you.

Most people don't breathe properly let alone know what chemicals actually get activated when nose and mouth breathing and that is one of the many tools I have learned and continue to learn.

So you see at the beginning of this art drawing journey in bold letters I started with -Be Present- and if I and we are not present in the moment then we are in the past in survival mode which is stress which is conditioning.

Having healthy boundaries for your health and well  being is very important for many reasons and being aware of the energy of others and intentions is something that I am very attuned to and have come trust it and not dismiss it or not belive it anymore because it is real and true.

So with that being said pace yourself and remember life is not a sprint it is a marathon.

To be continued and thank you for checking out the latest.

Surfboard drawings by Paul Carter

Dream it, design it, draw it and then create it in a full size custom handshaped surfboard.

When one lets go of living a life of validation from others life becomes a whole new adventure and journey from the inside out.

No longer living a life of comparing or thinking or worrying about what others may think is a freedom that is exciting and a peace that grows from learning by doing.

Having healthy activities and habits daily, will break through the old unhealthy perceptions of conditioning into healthy new ones.

It’s nit about being perfect it’s about being at peace in knowing thyself and embrace the inspired creativity and enjoy the process by being present 100%.

These are a couple of spontaneous sketches with positive reminders for the journey in and out of the water.

I enjoy the beauty of the clean look of black ink drawing it gives a classic old style look and feel.

Trying out different color options and I like the posca paint pens for simplicity of adding color especially on the road being mobile.

When I use paint I like acrylics paints for the drying time and the variety of colors is great.

Drawing tips at sano with a time lapse ink drawing from my imaginations and the travels around the planet.

I am finding the importance of keeping that creative balance from the inside out is key, and using the left and ride sides of the brain to stay fit and stoked on a healthy lifestyle.
A reminder for all of us that balance is a mental, nutritional, spiritual, physical journey and each is important to the other.  Health is a daily choice not chance.

Inspired in laguna beach

Laguna beach is a great place to get inspired on many levels.  This day was a beautiful sunny day I was looking to do some drawings and enjoy the day.  The importance of being in the moment with conscious deep breathing to stay grounded and really take in all the landacape and Cozy coves to enjoy the beach and get into the drawing or painting,
Here is a latest YouTube video on this journey and I would be stoked you join the creative tribe and subscribe for all the latest.

Drawing a keyhole surf art time lapse Paul Carter

Looking through the keyhole, a kids dream.

A true meaning of a quick draw of a keyhole surf dream.  I grew up in a house built in the late 1920s.
As young boy I would look through these key holes to the outside to my world my dreams from the inside out.
I did some drawings in grade school and a few in high school but I didn't think much of it, until the year 2000 when I decided to start painting and my art journey began and continues to grow the more I create.
This is a time capsule videos of drawings and paintings, shaping everything in between on creativity.
These videos will be up on my YouTube channel so join the tribe through the link in my bio.
Thanks everyone your positive support it feeds each of one us.
