Hand Shaped Clark Foam blank from 1985

This was a flashback project from 1985, A Clark foam blank that was 80% shaped from the 80s era with a couple of deep channels which I shaped out using the electric planer and put in concave,As you can see from the outline I changed that up with a clean curve.

The board was pretty yellow from sitting in a garage for over 20 years,was stoked my friend Rob gave it to me after all these years.

This guy has been riding all the way from Montana and down el Camino real. Thought I was hearing things when I heard horses walking on the street. I looked up and here was this cowboy and his 3 horses right out front of the shop. Was great to to this guy and I imagined a time when horse travel was the norm around these parts.

The 10'2 is a classic shape with 3 stringers and a volan knee patch with a wood tail block. This board is 24 wide and made for gliding an trim speed and smoother turns.
